We build worlds you can
reach into.

Scramble Works makes immersive VR games and serious mining training technology — both built on the same foundation of physical, embodied, meaningful interaction.

01

Designed for VR's strengths

Physical movement, presence, gaze, hand interaction, and embodied play — we build around what makes VR unlike any other medium.

02

Short, sustainable sessions

Tight-loop sports games designed for short bursts of play, with the depth to extend a session whenever you want more.

03

One framework, two missions

The same interaction technology powers our games and our professional mining-sector training simulations.

The slate

Games built around what the body does

Throwing, paddling, leaning, swinging, running. Every title on the slate is embodiment-first physical play, built on one shared Unity framework.

Next up

Wind Disc

Disc golf where you bend the wind — shape the flight after the throw, or turn the discs on each other in gestural Duel combat.

Disruption Duel

Energy weapons that short-circuit on contact. Reading, feinting, and spacing over force — built for VR and shared-space mixed reality duels across your actual living room.

4 Square

The playground classic as a hangout — one ball, four squares, and a sideline made for spectating, chatting, and showing off.

Skiing working title

Carve an open mountain with body lean and pole work — and when night falls in Survival mode, something starts gaining on you.

Story-driven titles

Core-loop games with a structured story mode layered on.

Redshift

Anti-gravity racing in a space chariot you built yourself — win the race while physically holding your machine together.

Street Badminton working title

An anime sports story about a misfit school team — and badminton with completely unreasonable technology.

EscApe

Steal a mech gorilla. Knuckle-run for the ship. Save who you can on the way out.

Primitive Hunt working title

Stone-age tools, beasts that shouldn't share an era, and a physical hunting loop wrapped around one mystery: time is broken here.

On the horizon: a tabletop god-game played over a living diorama, party titles pairing one VR player with friends on phones, and larger story-driven worlds to come.

Technology

A complete Unity VR framework

Everything we ship — games and training alike — is built on one consistent technical base, developed in Unity 6.5 and Blender.

  • Locomotion, interaction, saving & UI — complete across all projects
  • Validation scenes & reusable gameplay modules
  • Visual style pipeline
  • Built to support both games and professional training
Engine Unity 6.5
Art pipeline Blender
First platform Meta Quest 3

Quest 3 first — its market reach, versatility, and demanding performance constraints force a performant foundation that scales up to more capable VR hardware later.

Serious VR

Professional training for the mining sector

The same core interaction technology as our games, packaged for professional use — safety-focused, repeatable practice grounded in realistic scenario-based learning.

Underground emergency

Emergency response training set in realistic underground mine environments.

Workshop & mill safety

High-risk task scenarios for workshops and processing mills.

Fire response

Practice fire response decisions safely, repeatably, and memorably.

Confined-space rescue

Rescue simulation for one of mining's most demanding emergency tasks.

Scramble Works also intends to explore free emergency VR training experiences where practical and appropriate.

The studio

Grounded in real-world conditions

Scramble Works was founded by Sean Cope in Woodbridge, Western Australia. Sean brings a multidisciplinary background spanning occupational hygiene, art and sculpting, environmental health, biomedical science, and communications.

His mining experience covers underground gold mines, processing mills, lithium, nickel, and iron ore operations — giving the studio a practical understanding of mine-site environments, high-risk tasks, and emergency response needs, and why training must be engaging, memorable, and grounded in reality.
